Below are the transcripts between myself (BOB) & Vijay Singaram (VS) on his say about Özil’s arrival, Arsenal’s changing tactics, his passion in Sketching, has secret weapon to attract people and much more J

BOB: What do you feel about our present squad now that transfer window has closed ?
VS: I feel we are super fine in terms of quality even though we are short on backups.
Defensively there’s a possibility of players getting over-burnt  although I have to admit that our midfield has become even more stronger which is capable of finishing off the job on any given day.

BOB: What are your first reactions after the news of Özil’s signing?
VS: [More than ecstatic I would say] Even a person with a very scarce / no  knowledge of football would be able to identify him as a good footballer which shows the stature of the player he really is.
I would rate him very highly, in fact just behind Ronaldo &  Messi in terms of talent.
With this signing, Arsenal has shown the intent to add good players [when they get a chance to do so]contrary  to certain players’ questioning our club’s direction (you know who J)

BOB: How you feel the current Starting lineup ll change with Özil’s arrival?
VS: Initially I had a thought that Wenger would slowly ease him into the first team but with the news of Rozza getting injured, I feel Wenger ll change his mind and will try and start Özil  from Stoke’s game if not directly from Stadium of light.

BOB: With the signing of Özil, do you feel we ll go all guns blazing during the January transfer window?
VS: I don’t think we ll go on a shopping spree [ in January] now that we have signed Özil. We have a core of young British players who are all very young and immensely talented, all we need is the right additions in certain areas to suit our style of play.
Özil’s signing has definitely grabbed the attention of the people in a very positive way, previously players used to reject us for joining bigger clubs but now things will start to change and we ll be able to see many great players wanting to play our club going forward. it’s the first of many to come J

BOB: Your thoughts on Sunderland?
VS: I think that Sunderland would be feeling pretty shocked at the moment considering the fact that they have lost back to back games that too the last defeat came against the newly promoted Crystal Palace [3-1]. The fact that  they lost to 3 -0 their under 21 team in an closed door practice match recently wouldn’t help them either. This would definitely be there on the player’s minds when they face us and I feel we are going to inflict pain on them even further.

BOB: What do you feel about our recent changes in our tactics ? ( We have started adopting the counter-attacking technique rather than our traditional possession based football)
VS: I am a bit disappointed to see us play this way (counter-attacking style) as I am a huge fan of the possession based football which Wenger has developed all over the years, although I have to admit my happiness in the fact that we are now able to grind out results in our favor. At the end of the day it’s the results that matter isn’t it?
In a way I believe that we would be able to play both ways in a match, the flamboyant possession based football and also the defensive style like a well-oiled machine. In the former case, we will be able to switch over to defensive counter attacking football when things are not going our way and I think that is what Steve Bould and Wenger partnership are trying to accomplish.

BOB: What do you feel about Arsenal’s momentum going into the Sunderland game with the recent International Break?
VS: Of course International break would have a bearing on our players but I think it should not impact them much considering the fact that our players have been playing together as a squad for quite some time now and everybody can complement each other pretty well. Even should we lack sharpness, (If at all any) we would be still be able to able to come out on top considering the fact that Sunderland are in a slump at the moment.

BOB: Whom do you think would be Game turner for both Arsenal and Sunderland for this weekend?
VS: For  Arsenal, it would be Walcott (If he starts) or Cazorla and for Sunderland , I would pick Mobido Diakite as I thought his ground tackles were good in their last couple of games.

BOB: Moving on, How did you develop Interest in Sketching?
VS: Interest for me in sketching started from a very young age when I used to draw the comic book characters whenever I read them. After that it was just the encouragement of friends that helped me sustain the interest. Although I have not had any formal training of any sorts, practice and criticism keeps making me better every day and helps get the best out of me.

BOB: Who was your inspiration behind all this?
VS: My inspiration was my high school art teacher who used to handle one art class (compulsory) per week but added to that, there’s one more incentive too…it attracted lot of young feminine fans (was my secret thus far J). [Please find some of Vijay’s art works below]

BOB: What’s on your workshop at the moment ?
VS: I am currently working on Rambo at the moment, hoping to release it soon J
