Hello All,
BOB: How do you see us coping with the current squad between now and January?
BOB: Your Thoughts on Stoke game at the weekend?
The worry is more when I think about players like Begovic, Huth & Shawcross would could frustrate us with their physicality and their performance [like what they did against City last weekend]. I fancy Ramsey to score a goal and also hoping that he nutmegs Shawcross at least once during the course of the gameJ.

My guest for this week's edition of BOB Up With series is Gooner Sattwik Pati [SP] J
Similar to our last week's guest Vijay S, Sattwik also excels in sketching and calligraphy.
He claims himself as a "Kryponite" and is a profound "Serial Killer" J [
Hold on for a sec before you get into any conclusion guys, I was referring to his interests in watching all the TV series JJJ]
Please find at the end of the blog, one of Sattwik's sketches of a certain "Gareth Bale" J
Take a look at our peep talk and predictions below.

BOB: Hello
Sattwik, What are your reactions on Arsenal’s current form considering how things shaped up over the summer?
SP: I
am honestly surprised. Normally we get to see Arsenal being on top of
the list only before the start of the league when the table is arranged
alphabetically
[laughs].
But
yeah I felt good that we were able to bounce back strongly especially
after the opening day fiasco against Villa, which shows
a lot about this current team.
Now
with the signing of Özil, the feel good factor is back and I ll be an
enormous boost to this team which can help them surge forward
in the right direction. I think he’s already having a much more impact
than just a signing on the pitch.
BOB: Your
thoughts on the Sunderland and Marseille Games?
SP: Sunderland
and Marseille games showed that even if we lack that extra something to
kill games off, we were able to pull out victories by being resilient
and composed.
Although I expected this team to win,
[both the games]
it
was bit different from the victories which we had won before.
Previously if we are losing during the course of the match, we will end
up losing and same goes with the
matches in which we will be in winning positions too. Now I feel things
are beginning to change, We have started to feel the aura by grind out
results in our favor like Man Utd for example.
One must admit that we are in the very primitive stages of this approach.
BOB: What’s
your perception towards Arsène after the end of the Transfer window?
SP: It
was a well-known fact that I was one of the Arsène’s bashers during the
course of the window, maybe as I felt that he was bit indecisive which
infuriated a lot of people like me when it came to transfers. My
perception has changed right since he signed Özil.
Now I feel he should promote youngsters even more alongside Big players to gain experience.
BOB: About
Ramsey’s current form?
SP: He
is in form of his life at the moment. Looks like there’s nothing which
could stop him from scoring. He began to show his consistency towards
the end of last season and he is just continuing it both in pre-season
and the games so far moving from strength to
strength. Very happy to see him enjoying his football which shows how
much he has improved both mentally and technically.
Although
I knew that he is immensely talented right since he broke into Blue
Birds first team and also before his leg break, yet
I used to wonder couple of seasons ago on what Arsène’s up to when puts
Ramsey in the starting lineup. I am now glad that all both their
efforts are getting paid off.
BOB: How do you see us coping with the current squad between now and January?
SP: I
believe we can cope up with our current squad between now and January exempting all injuries
[*pauses for a second to pray to all the injury gods J*].
We
had a similar time last season too when we didn’t have proper players
to cover important positions during injuries, yet we managed to perform
decently on the field. That
experience learnt would definitely help this team during crisis
situations
[ if at all any].
Overall
I would want every player to remain fit till we achieve something this
season as I think each player is unique in his skills
and would help the team in some way. Remember no player is completely
replaceable.
We
also have to think of performing well in the CL fixtures which will
help us remain in contention. In a way, every team has certain
players who are paramount to their team’s progress in the league like
Countinho for Liverpool, Van Persie for United etc and we are no
stranger to this situation J
BOB: How
do you enjoy watching Arsenal playing with 6 defenders on pitch at times?
SP: Of
course it’s good as long as it can help the team maintain the lead and
eventually win the game. But I would not be a fan of this type of
football if we are leading by 2 or more goals during which I would
prefer giving chance to youngsters which can help them
gain invaluable first team experience.
BOB: Your Thoughts on Stoke game at the weekend?
SP: Think
we should win the game and I believe we will. However, I am cautious
over the fact that we have to remain injury free considering Stoke’s
physical nature over the years. A Nil –Nil is all but what they would be
expecting out of this game. Players like Kenwyne
Jones, Peter Crouch, Charlie Adams etc would try and exploit us with
long balls so both our central defenders have to remain focused and
vigilant.
It is going to be a long ball fest and we would have to keep ourselves prepared to deal with it.
The worry is more when I think about players like Begovic, Huth & Shawcross would could frustrate us with their physicality and their performance [like what they did against City last weekend]. I fancy Ramsey to score a goal and also hoping that he nutmegs Shawcross at least once during the course of the gameJ.
BOB: How
do you think Sparky’s [Mark Hughes] Stoke have changed from Tony Pulis’ Stoke?
SP: They
have little bit, but at the Emirates I can see nothing but they sitting
back and defending so I am guessing they’d prefer long ball game rather
than their “new” passing football.
The above tactic would be more of a necessity to keep tight rather than a choice.
BOB: Whom
do you think would be the key men for both Arsenal and Stoke for this weekend’s game?
SP: For
Arsenal it’s going to be Özil and I would pick Charlie Adam for Stoke.
